When design and technology merge, you end up with a beauty like ZIIIRO’s Proton Watch. Ditching traditional clock hands, this Hong Kong watch maker has instead opted to use transparent gradient disks of blue and yellow to tell time. As the positions of the “hands” move closer together, the colors combine to form green. (Missed the lesson on primary colors in kindergarten? No worries: ZIIIRO’s got your back.)
The time piece comes in three shades, including transparent, milky white, and transparent smoke, and can be purchased for a cool 129 euros (about 168 USD). With such polished design, companies like ZIIIRO are definitely making it hard to replace wristwatches with the clock on your phone.
