Some of the soups were made by familiar faces, like Hélène Dujardin of Tartelette, while quite a few were created by some new faces you’re soon to love. Whether their vegetables are pureed or diced, or they feature pasta or bacon, these soups will definitely let you exercise your culinary muscle and leave your dinner guests in awe.

Based out of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Liz Drew began knitting winter accessories for her grandchildren almost a decade ago. Her socks are known for their signature blend of detailed Scandinavian designs and bold color palettes, in what she refers to as “Californian Scandinavian.” She has extended this style to hats and gloves, which are also for sale in her Etsy shop. If her goal was to make dressing up for the cold more fun, all I can say is: mission accomplished.
